Our story

How did South Shore Industrial get started?

South Shore Industrial was founded to raise the bar in industrial contracting. The goal was simple: do high-quality work that keeps industrial operations running. That goal has grown SSI into a partner for plants across Indiana and beyond.

We added capabilities as our customers needed them. Today the same crews that rebuild a gearbox in our Portage shop can set it, align it and restart it on your floor. Integrity and reliability haven't changed along the way.
